(ULSAN = Newsis) Ulsan Port Authority (UPA) held a Ulsan port business fair in Shanghai, China on 17 December with more than 150 industry officials and the press in attendance.

The business fair aimed to expand the cargo volume to China; attract more investments from China; and identify the trend of fluid cargo in China.

The UPA introduced the history and current state of affairs of Ulsan port to Chinese shipping and logistic business leaders.

It also focused on the major development projects of Ulsan port including Northeast Oil Hub Project and berth development plan.

During an interview with the local press, UPA President Park Jong-rok called for investments and interests by the Chinese companies to the fast-growing fluid cargo port.

This is the first business fair by the UPA to be held in China. The corporation held the business fairs in 2011 and 2012 in Tokyo, Japan and gained a good response.
