(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) Daejeon Metropolitan City announced December 5 that a business meeting for local companies was held in Tokyo, Japan, in connection to the Monozukuri Matching Japan 2017 event (Nov. 29 - Dec. 1), where the companies succeeded in signing export contracts worth a total of USD 11.75 billion.

The meeting organized by the Daejeon Business Agency, the city's Fukuoka Trade Office, and Nikkan Kogyo Shinbun (The Daily Industrial News), provided an opportunity to introduce six local companies, including XO Compnay. to Japan.

Maker of comprehensive automotive control systems XO Company signed a export contract worth USD 300,000 with Japan's LNS, while solar power company LS Tech has agreed to sign with a Japanese parts and equipment maker next month.

Yoonseul received the attention of Japanese buyers for its research accomplishments and technology for vacuum optics systems.

Daejeon provided interpretations services and airfare for the participating companies.
