Daejeon Technopark Takes on Super Rookie Startup Project

On April 22, Daejeon Technopark announced its "Super Rookie Startup Project" to foster young entrepreneurs.

Daejeon Technopark will scout 15 potential startups and narrow it down to 8 teams after preliminary evaluations. The final 8 will be given funding to commercialize their ideas.

Young entrepreneurs between the ages of 14-37 working in wireless converged communications, robot automation, bio functional materials and bio healthcare are eligible to apply.

Finalists will receive 1:1 education, mentoring from experts, prototyping support, intellectual property application support, design development support, marketing support as well as funding up to KRW 30 million. Daejeon Technopark will take applications until May 9.
