The city held an opening ceremony of the campus on the 4th floor of Daejeon City Corporation on May 7. The size of the campus is about 900 square meters, including the spaces for tenant companies, meeting rooms, educational room, and a lounge.

Daejeon city plans to provide various customized support programs in identifying and supporting social ventures based on technology in step with social venture capital and accelerators.

During the opening ceremony, Daejeon mayor signed MOU on nurturing Daejeon-style social ventures with K-water, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, SK Center for Social Entrepreneurship Studies, Daejeon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, Dadam Investment, and an accelerator Sopoong.

According to the agreement, each entity will jointly discover (preliminary) social venture entrepreneurs, develop business model and technology, attract investment, and provide credit guarantee.
