According to Newsis,

The city of Daejeon announced on Jan. 2 that the local authority adopts 10 units of hydrogen buses running on the road. With a KRW 6 billion national budget (1.9 billion and 2.2 billion from the central and local government each), the city starts the pilot service.

Each unit costs approximately KRW 600 million. When given cash grants, bus owners can pay just KRW 100 million for each.

The bus accommodates 48 passengers and is reportedly very comfortable and quite, reducing engine vibration. It also appears to be favorable to the environment, discharging less emissions than the conventional vehicles. Daejeon city said they’re planning to have 30 more by the year 2022 right after the assessment process to monitor its performance.
