DAEJEON < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,
Residents who purchase hydrogen vehicles as of now in the city of Daejeon can be given subsidies as much as KRW 34.50 million per unit. The city plans to cover 323 vehicles this year. The candidates must be over 18 and show a proof of residency. Plus, they must also run local business incorporated.

Anyone who benefit from the service must meet a two-year mandatory term for the ownership of the car, which strictly prohibits transfer to other places outside the city. Roughly 20 percent of the cash grants will be covered in advance by the city budget to those under the poverty line, taking care of many kids, planning to dispose of old diesel cars or living nearby community charging stations.
