According to Newsis,
Donggu, Daejoen city plans to open a new museum, named “Thomas Edison science museum”, along with an attendee experience facility, where visitors can enjoy real content technology such as augment reality or virtual reality adjacent to nearby train stations.

Particularly, Chubu tunnel which extends to 340m length & 7m wide appears to have the world’s longest place to experience VR/AR content. The local authorities have made in-depth discussion with the neighboring Keumsan County to find ways to upcycle old, abandoned tunnels into a new tourist attraction by forming a special task force to negotiate with potential investors to finance the projects.

Once the process is over, it is highly expected to see a large tourist hot spot connecting Mt. Manin, Sangso forest park to Daejeon Stn.
