According to Yonhap News,

Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) signed an MOU on Jun. 12 with Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (SNUBH) to run joint research work for bio-healthcare and to form an ecosystem for innovative growth.

Both parties agreed to keep working on studying and developing targeted therapies and personalized new medicine, capitalizing on medical big data and resources. They also reached a consensus on forming an integrated, cross-functional “Medi-cluster” where numerous industries such as healthcare, ICT, and financial services, etc. are closely intertwined for borderless services, which requires tighter solidarity to build up new bio-healthcare business model and to exchange academic resources and research data.
