SMEs and startups agency Daejeon & Sejong Office said on Jun 29 the authorities will take a proactive approach to biz- support activities by helping small businesses create an online presence and stay connected to global buyers online. The agency said they’ll put more emphasis on non-contact, virtual trade consulting platform, given growing concerns over the spread of the coronavirus, which has caused many events and mass gathering worldwide to be cancelled.

Accompanied by other agencies, providing financial leverage for export, the local authorities are planning to make a concerted effort to back up businesses, while stepping into each chain of business activities from funding, logistics and market entry.

They also opens sales channel via e-commerce marketplace, which connects between local manufacturers and online vendors, a move to increasingly sell online.
