DXRC to join Korea’s largest VR-AR show ‘KVRF 2020'

Daejoen VR-AR content production center, called DXRC, said on Dec 4 that the center is set to take part in the annual Korea VR Festival 2020 (KVRF 2020), which marks the third anniversary since it has kicked off in 2018.

Under the sponsorship of the ICT ministry and National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), Korea VR-AR Industry Association (KOVRA) and Ecomice host the show both on and offline, known as the largest festival showing the latest mixed reality (VR-AR) technologies.

Offline events are set to be held on Dec 10-12, followed by virtual shows which are to be available on Dec 17-19. Detailed programs include VR expo, global conference, B2B business meeting session, mixed reality grand challenge, product launch event showcasing the latest technologies and KVRF awards.

On the back of DXRC’s support, five local candidates put their names on the guest lists. By setting up a target for cross-sector applications of the technologies particularly in defense and science business, the city has long been specialized in, the center is planning to rent the related facilities free of charge, while providing opportunities for the entities engaged to join exhibitions and product demonstration. They’ll also pitch in with PR material production.
