According to Yonhap News,

Hancom Inc. said they’ve signed an MOU with the city of Daejoen on Feb 25 over the city-led project to build up the industry infrastructure and ecosystem, the basis of the Industry 4.0, represented with a wide variety of technologies of the future such as UAVs, robotic engineering, mobility, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things etc, upon which Hancom Inc.’s technologies are applicable. The investor reached a consensus to build up an urban UAV testing zone, entirely authorized to fly drones using its Hancom-in-space, Daejoen office. The city authorities, in turn, pledged to provide full financial and administrative support for its counterpart.

The company CEO said “Daejoen city is fully equipped with the best industry infrastructure to develop and advance the newest technologies of the Industry 4.0. Our investment in the city is firmly believed to be part of commitment to the formation of smart city, while showing vigor from a grim reality amid COVID-19 induced recession.”
