DAEJEON < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

The city of Daejeon announced on Apr 29 the launch of the 22nd anniversary of the global leaders’ forum and trade fair on May 24-27 at Daejoen Convention Center, in partnership with the World-OKTA (World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations).

To celebrate the event, nearly 750 guests in 143 cities throughout 68 countries are reported to feature onsite and online.

Five startups and the city will prepare a pitch deck to present their company to prospective angel or VC investors. They’ll showcase the company's products, technology and team to the investors on May 24. An online job fair and the youth career counseling for those interested in working overseas is scheduled to take place on May 25-26.

On May 26-27, there will be an onsite and online trade fair, a matching service to help the world OKTA members find potential business partners to tap deeper into overseas markets at the presence of locally based businesses across a variety of sectors-consumer goods, bio healthcare, medical devices and machinery etc.

To let the world learn more on the city of Daejeon and to raise event awareness for the public, Daejeon city will live stream on YouTube (www.youtube.com/worldokta).
