Daejeon City announced on August that it will hold the ‘2021 AI Festival’ jointly with 50 organizations and companies, including Innopolis Foundation, from September 2 to 4.

Under the theme of 'Integration of of Metaverse and AI', it will be held online, offline, and in virtual space. It is co-hosted by 'Daeduck Net', a science-specialized media company, and 'AI Friends', an artificial intelligence developer community in Daedeok Innopolis.

Twenty AI experts will give lectures on different topics each day, followed immediately by talk shows on the topic of artificial intelligence after the lecture.

In particular, there will be lectures on the topic of AI-educational programs to nurture future developers. In addition , domestic and foreign AI-specialized companies will introduce the cases where artificial intelligence is applied to industries.

In addition, an event space consisted of a gallery, library, and meeting room will be prepared on Gathter Town, a Metaverse platform, where art exhibitions and concerts will be held at all times.
