According to Yonhap News,

Daejeon e-Sports Stadium opend on September 15 within Advanced Science Center in EXPO Science Park in Doryong-dong, Yuseong-gu.

It is an amphitheater (building area 4,595 square meters) with a main 500-seater stadium, built with KRW 10 billion investment.

The main stadium was built as a changeable amphitheater that can expand the observation platform, allowing spectators in 500 seats to watch the game without disruption on four large screens.

It is also equipped with an auxiliary stadium, auxiliary control room, players waiting room, and training room so that both players and spectators can enjoy e-sports in the most optimal condition.

The city plans to foster e-Sports as part of life culture by holding a local amateur (students, office workers) league, Chungcheong region amateur and military personnel competitions, and local PC room club competitions, among others.

It will create an ecosystem of the e-Sports industry in the region by developing citizens interested in the e-Sports industry into e-Sports players, e-Sports staff including referees and coaches, or e-Sports broadcasting personnel

At the opening ceremony of the stadium, Daejeon's mayor said, "we will not spare efforts to provide support so that e-sports can make riffle effects to creating jobs, establishing a company, and expanding to tourism and urban marketing."
