The government plans to develop Daejeon Jangdae Urban High-tech Industrial Complex as the center of the high-tech sensor industry. The advanced sensor industry is a key industry to secure data in the era of the 4th industrial revolution led by artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
The 'Innovation Growth Center', to be built within the urban high-tech industrial complex, will also serve as a space to foster and support high-tech sensor-related companies and industries in cooperation with the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) and Daejeon city.
LH, the project operator, plans to start compensating for land next year, start construction in 2023, and complete the construction in 2025.
