Daejeon-si announced on May 8 that it has selected four companies for 2022 Smart Innovative Technology Demonstration Support Project: Jinosys, Khanfilter, Azwell, and Twinny.

This project is to provide demonstration opportunities for innovative technologies and products of private companies who own smart city service technology and to stimulate early commercialization.

It is a program to resolve the difficulties that arise in the process of performance verification (test bed) in real-world environment, standardization and licensing, and mass production and commercialization even after succeeding in development of technologies and products in the smart city field. A total of KRW 200 million will be provided to 4 companies.

Meanwhile, the city hosted a public contest for ‘Smart Innovative Technology Urban Application Project’ to solve urban problems and to spread smart innovative technology experienced by citizens, selecting Dong-gu and Daedeok-gu, and Yuseong-gu in the end.
