According to Yonhap News,

Daejeon-si announced on June 9 that 16 local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) achieved contracts worth about USD 3.92 million (about KRW 5 billion) at the Vietnam International Premium Products Fair on June 2-5.

These companies in the food, cosmetics, and household goods areas held the Chungcheong region SMEs and startups fair with 32 companies in North and South Chungcheong Provinces.

The fair in Vietnam was had been put off in the aftermath of the COVID-19, but resumed after three years.

Companies made the best use of a joint PR center to increase publicity, and Daejeon-si also introduced its local tourism infrastructure to the Vietnamese people.

An official from Daejon-si said, "we will more actively support export activities of local companies."
