Daejeon-si signed an investment agreement worth KRW 56.2 billion with four companies including Innertron, IBULE Photonics, Citra and BENOC at City Hall on July 12.

These companies plan to relocate their headquarters to Ansan Advanced Defense Industrial Complex or build production plants by 2026.

When the investment is completed as planned, the city expects the creation of 195 new jobs.

Innertron, which produces core parts for mobile communication base transceiver station systems, will invest KRW 30 billion to move from Incheon to the Ansan Industrial Complex.

IBULE Photonics (Incheon), which develops medical ultrasonic piezoelectric materials, and Citra (Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do), which specializes in aviation parts, are also planning to relocate their facilities by investing KRW 8.4 billion and KRW 5.8 billion, respectively.

BENOC, a manufacturer of glasses and optical lenses located in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, will invest KRW 12 billion to expand and relocate.
