According to Yonhap News,

Daejeon-si and five self-governing districts held "The First City-District Office Cooperation Meeting" and inked an MoU.

Mayor of Daejeon Lee Jang-woo and other heads of five districts decided that the meeting be held regularly and agreed to find shared agenda for the local development.

Going forward, the mayor and heads plan to find joint agenda on which securing government fund and policy agendas would be reflected, and to respond together.

And they designated the 8th general election's pledges and promised projects as a core project and it would be under close management.

Also, the mattes pertaining to dredging deposit soil, securing local parking lot and an interchange of personnel were on the table as well.

Mayor Lee said, "a cooperative work between city and district is quintessential for realizing local autonomy, as well as regional development."
