Daeduk-gu in Daejeon announced on Aug. 18th Sintanjin region was chosen as an excellent business site in the 'performance review on implementation of the city regeneration project 2022,' promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
According to the review on Sintanjin, the region has a decent level of community consultation body and the relevant organization, and is excellent at responding to changes in conditions or circumstances including changes to planning of strengthening connectivity and the development project.
The Ministry evaluates yearly the performance of the municipalities that are carrying out the city regeneration new deal, regarding performance in promoting specific business, as well as the governance establishment and management.
The review was conducted on 368 regions, including 13 regions in Daejeon among the city regeneration new deal business sites from 2016 to 2021.
Choi Chung-gyu, the district leader of Daeduk-gu, mentioned, "we will succeed in sintanjin's city regeneration project through communications with the locals."
