Five domestic promising companies will invest about KRW 100 billion in Daejeon.

Daejeon-si signed a business agreement with: Nanal SMI (IT service company), DL Chemical (petrochemical company), Lotte Well Food ( confectionery company), Shinhwa (protective fence manufacturer), and Refine (an online information provider) at the city hall on September 6.

The city will provide administrative and financial support to the companies to ensure their investment can be caried out without a hitch.

If everything goes well as planned, the city expects 373 jobs to be created.

Daejeon's mayor said, "We will continue to build a business-friendly environment by creating an industrial complex of 5 million pyeong+α, attracting high-tech companies, actively fostering human resources and supporting technology development."
