"2024 Water Korea", the largest international water industry fair in Korea, will be held at Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) on March 20-22.

On March 15, Daejeon-si said that 166 companies, institutions, and organizations in the water and sewage sector will participate in the event, which will be held under the theme of 'Win-Win Cooperation for Clean Water".

It is an exhibition in which government, local governments, and officials from companies and academia come together to discuss the direction of water-related policies and ways to promote the development of related industries.

During the event, various programs such as international meetings and seminars are also scheduled.

As the last day of the event (March 22) is the 'World Water Day' observed by the United Nations (UN), the Ministry of Environment will host a ceremony.

Daejeon-si expects that about 10,000 officials will be gathered during the event period, while about KRW 30 billion will be created from corporate activities.
