Daejeon-si signed an MOU with seven promising domestic companies on investment worth KRW 119.5 billion and creation of 360 jobs at City Hall on December 4.

The MOU contains matters concerning companies' relocation and new investment, administrative and financial support by Daejeon-si for companies to proceed with investment smoothly, and joint effort to create new jobs and local economy development.

Three companies decided to invest in Ansan Advanced Defense Industrial Complex, including I-Spec, specializing in ultra-precision and high-efficiency controllers, ISPark, specializing in ICT solutions including smart factory based on digital twin, and Terasys, a developer of industrial antennas and long-distance video transmission and reception devices.

Cotstechnology, specializing in embedded system based on single board computer, and HBE F&M, Korea's largest manufacturer of aerospace defense Isothermal forging will invest in Jangdae Urban Advanced Industrial Complex in Yuseong-gu.

Taekyung Electronics, which was the first to implement and commercialize Multipurpose Module Mounted Lighting Broadcasting Tethered/Untethered Drone System, will move into Daejeon Industrial Complex in Daedeok-gu.

Daejeon's mayor said, "of 7 companies, three are from the capital area, and three are from Gyeongnam area, while two plan to move their headquarters to Daejeon, which is a testmant to Daejeon's rise as the best place for investment."

With the MOU signing today, the city attracted 38 companies, KRW 730.4 billion investment, and created 1,390 jobs in this year alone.
