Hanbat National University signed an MOU with Singapore Manufacturing Federation to nurture talent in smart manufacturing

On February 20, Hanbat National University announced that its Smart Manufacturing Advanced Talent Development Project Team has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and the Advanced Manufacturing Training Academy (AMTA) for collaboration.

Hanbat University plans to apply the methodologies held by AMTA to domestic companies in order to develop and operate educational programs for employees and job seekers, as well as to acquire project-based learning (PBL) expertise for the Daejeon Smart Manufacturing Advanced Talent Development Project.

The Daejeon Smart Manufacturing Advanced Talent Development Project, led by Hanbat University with participation from Chungnam National University, Hannam University, and the Daedeok Innopolis Venture Association, is part of the Smart Green Industrial Complex Promotion Project led by the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (Daejeon Smart Green Industrial Complex Project Team).

In the first year, the project achieved the following outcomes for companies located in the Daejeon Industrial Complex : customized employee training (approximately 300 people), smart manufacturing capability enhancement training (approximately 600 people), solutions for technical challenges and marketing support (about 60 cases), and industry-academic cooperation projects (around 10 projects).
