On March 10, Daejeon Technopark (Daejeon TP) announced that five companies that participated in the "Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025" held in Barcelona, Spain achieved consultations valued at USD 12.5 million (approximately KRW 18.18 billion).
Daejeon TP supported the participation of five companies, including Deepscent (digital scent solutions), Myren (accident detection solutions), AI Control (intelligent living assistance robots), Ean Nanotek (AI-based brain tumor diagnosis and surgery planning solutions), and EMCT (mobile remote monitoring services).
These companies recorded a total of USD 12.5 million in consultation, including USD 4.2 million (approximately KRW 6.08 billion) in contract negotiations. Myren, in particular, signed an export contract worth USD 130,000 with a company in India in addition to an MOU for export cooperation with another company in Italy.
An official from Deajeon TP said, "Participation in MWC is an opportunity for companies to have their technologies recognized in the global market," and added, "We plan to expand various overseas expansion programs, such as increasing opportunities for networking with overseas buyers."
MWC is the world's largest telecommunications and mobile exhibition, showcasing cutting-edge technology trends such as 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and smart devices, with over 200 companies and experts from countries around the world participating each year.
