According to Yonhap News,
On March 17, Daejeon-si signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) at the City Hall to support the demonstration and market access of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups.
The main points include: ▲ Expanding market access opportunities for local businesses through support for the Public Procurement Service innovative prototype registration ▲ Expanding the promotion of demonstration support projects and activating company participation by linking the two organizations' demonstration platform portals ▲ Increasing demonstration opportunities and spreading innovative technology results by opening and sharing demonstration testbed resources.
Daejeon-si will be the first local government to participate in the national demonstration platform (K-Testbed).
Taking this as an opportunity, Daejeon’s demonstration platform (www.djtb.kr) and the national K-Testbed will strengthen cooperation, and the two will share their demonstration resources to expand technology validation and market access systems for businesses.
Since September of last year, local companies that have undergone demonstration at the Daejeon's demonstration platform can receive the same benefits as the K-Testbed for designation as innovative prototypes by the Public Procurement Service.
