On March 19, Daejeon-si held a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with six promising domestic companies in the city hall conference room, promising support for the stable settlement and growth of these companies.
The MOU includes provisions for the relocation and new investments of companies in Daejeon, administrative and financial support for smooth investment processes, and joint cooperation plans for creating new jobs and promoting local economic development.
The six companies decided to make new investments worth KRW 51.2 billion and promised to create over 160 jobs.
Three companies, including STEPLab, a venture specializing in space machinery systems and mechanisms, L2K Plus, a company in the laser optics field, and TOV tech, a company developing and manufacturing underwater weapon systems, will invest in the Ansan Advanced Defense Industry Complex in Yuseong-gu.
In the Tapnip and Jeonmin Industrial Complexes, THESENTECH, a company manufacturing metal separator plates for hydrogen fuel cells, will invest, while LN, specializing in military and space/aerospace industries, will invest in the Dungok Industrial Complex. In the Seogu Pyeongchon General Industrial Complex, PINE SNS, a company specializing in electrical and electronic materials, parts, and equipment, will invest and settle.
The representatives of the six companies stated, "With this MOU, we will continue to grow in Daejeon and do our best to create quality jobs and contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
