On April 14, the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) announced that the '2025 Korea Science Festival' will be held at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) on April 16-20.

This year, the exhibition will be integrated with the Korea Science Festival, organized by the Korea Foundation for Science and Creativity, and the Daejeon Science Festival, hosted by the Daejeon Tourism Organization, all taking place in Daejeon.

Under the theme 'Research in Daily Life, Daily Life in Research,' the event will showcase outstanding research and development (R&D) achievements in separate sections: the National R&D Achievements Hall, Basic and Applied Science Achievements Hall, Institution Achievements Hall, and the CES Innovation Enterprises Hall.

Specifically, the National R&D Achievements Hall will feature three major game-changer exhibits focusing on 'Advanced Bio, Quantum, AI,' as well as strategic technology halls showcasing semiconductor, display, hydrogen, and nuclear technologies. It will also include a Hall of 100 Excellent Achievements, with technologies such as an external diagnostic system for dementia and micro OLED display technology.

The Basic and Applied Science Achievements Hall will display 36 research outcomes, including a medium-sized wildfire response vehicle developed with domestic technology and cancer treatment prediction technologies based on immune checkpoint inhibitors.

The Institution Achievements Hall will introduce accomplishments from 19 organizations under the Ministry of Science and ICT, including the world's first quadruped robot that completed a marathon and the Nuri rocket, a space launch vehicle. In the CES Innovation Enterprises Hall, technologies from 24 companies that participated in this year's CES will be exhibited.
