According to Yonhap News,

On April 15, the Daejeon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Daejeon DCCI) announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Spain Seville Chamber of Commerce and Industry to expand economic exchanges.

This MOU is part of the activities of the Daejeon's economic delegation, which visited Spain on April 2, and the two chambers have pledged to strengthen cooperation in trade, business, and other economic and industrial sectors, as well as to expand human and material exchanges.

Through this MOU, Daejeon CCI expects to enhance economic exchanges and industrial cooperation with Seville, which has developed strategic industries such as aerospace, ICT, and energy.

The Vice Chairman of Daejeon CCI stated, "We hope to create a mutually developed economic cooperation model based on friendship and trust with Seville, which played a central role in Spain's politics and economics."
