On December 8, Daejeon-si held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) ceremony in the city hall’s conference room with seven promising domestic companies on investments worth KRW 132.8 billion.

D&T, a manufacturer of medical displays and equipment, and Insopack, a defense company specializing in tactical radios and military communications, have agreed to invest in the District 1, Innopolis Daedeok.

In the International Science Business Belt, which will convert some research land into industrial land for sale, TKENS, an eco-friendly dehumidifier manufacturer, and Incerasolutions, a company making low-orbit satellite-based space optical communication devices, will invest.

In the Daedeok Toplip and Jeonmin districts, AMSYSTEM, a company specializing in aircraft engineering and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) development and manufacturing, will establish a mass production facility for UAVs. In the Ansan Defense Advanced Industrial Complex, Firstec, a defense company specializing in ground, maritime, aerospace, and guided weapons, will invest to establish a strategic base for UAV manufacturing.

In the Daejeon Industrial Complex, Joeun VNC, a company supplying swing plates for screen golf using hydraulic cylinder technology, has decided to invest to expand into new businesses, including screen tennis.

Daejeon's mayor said, "This investment marks an important milestone in strengthening Daejeon's future industry competitiveness" and added, "We will continue to actively attract investments and build an innovative ecosystem to make Daejeon a more business-friendly city."
