KAIST selected three representative degree recipients who symbolize its ideal of talent.

The Ph.D. representative is Ryu Seung-hyun (Department of Bio and Brain Engineering), known as the "Piano-playing Neuroscientist" for his integrated research spanning neuroscience and piano performance. The Master’s representative is Choi Jin (School of Computing), who has continued research on "warm technology" for the socially vulnerable under the keywords of accessibility and inclusion. The Bachelor’s representative is Mert Yakup Baycan (Department of Aerospace Engineering), a Turkish national from the divided nation of Cyprus and the first foreigner to be selected as a KAIST Presidential Scholar.

The valedictorian speakers for the graduates will be Kang Dong-jae (Bachelor’s, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering) and Gul Osman (Ph.D., Department of Mechanical Engineering), an international student from Türkiye.

At the ceremony, an honorary doctorate in business administration will also be conferred upon Wang Jui-yu, Standing Member of the Executive Management Committee of the Formosa Group and Chairwoman of Formosa Biomedical Technology.
