This represents a 1.7 percent increase in the number of businesses and a 0.04 percent increase in the number of employees compared to the previous year, maintaining a gradual but stable upward trend. Compared to 2021, the number of businesses has grown by 6.7 percent and employees by 6.9 percent.

Looking at the distribution by industry, "Wholesale and Retail Trade" accounted for the largest share at 27.4 percent of all businesses.

In terms of the number of employees, "Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services" (20.1 percent) ranked highest, followed by "Manufacturing" (11.7 percent) and "Wholesale and Retail Trade" (11.6 percent). The district explained that these results reflect Yuseong-gu's R&D-centered industrial structure, which is built upon the Daedeok Innopolis.
