This year's Daedeok Research and Development Innopolis Fostering Project is valued at a total of KRW 32.6 billion. Among the budget, the allocation for regional innovation demonstration scale-up support stands at KRW 14.9 billion, representing a significant 72 percent increase compared to KRW 8.6 billion from the previous year. Through this, the foundation plans to strengthen support for deep-tech enterprises to generate large-scale outcomes and scale up.

By sector, intensive support will be directed toward national strategic technology fields, led by: Artificial Intelligence (30 percent), Advanced Bio (20 percent), and Robotics (11 percent)

Lim Mun-taek, Head of the Daedeok Innopolis Headquarters, stated, "The excellent research achievements of Daedeok Innopolis are successfully establishing themselves in the actual market through commercialization and demonstration." He added, "Alongside the rapid and stable commercialization of research achievements, we will accelerate technology diffusion and actively provide support so that Daedeok Innopolis can leap forward as a global hub for deep-tech innovation."
