(DAEGU=Yonhap News) The Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency (DIP) signed a business agreement with Dassault Systemes Korea on December 9 at the Daegu Creative Economy Innovation Center to nurture skilled workforce and build a relationship to support small- and medium-sized companies.

Daegu City can build a base to nurture global talents for the new growth engine industries, including smart city and future vehicles, some of the strategic industries promoted by the city.

DIP will be designated as Korea’s only training and certification center of Dassault Systems to run various educational programs for design and 3D simulation along with nurturing skilled workforce.

The 3D simulation of Dassault Systems can be used in specialized sectors, including aerospace, shipbuilding and offshore.
