According to Yonhap News,

(DAEGU=Yonhap News) The City of Daegu plans to push forward with various new projects in 2017 involving advanced technologies, culture, safety, transportation infrastructure to develop new growth engines for the future, and promote balanced development.

According to the city on March 23, the city’s plans for 2018 contains a total of 151 projects, including 51 new projects.

The city plans to secure a minimum KRW 3 trillion in national funding for the fifth consecutive year, to carry out the projects in various fields, including future industries, creative economy, disaster safety, and urban infrastructure and transportation.

According to a city source, “despite the earlier-than-expected presidential election, the city will do its best to secure the necessary nation funding by closely cooperating with National Assembly members representing Daegu.”
