DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(DAEGU=Yonhap News) At the Daegu City Hall on June 6, the city signed with Lotte Global Logistics and Zein Motors to work together on increasing the number of electric vehicles (EVs) on local roads.

Based on the agreement, Lotte Global Logistics will introdce commercial EVs through its parcel delivery division, while Zein Motors will develop EV technology, build production facilities, and work on manufacturing and supplying EVs.

Daegu will provide administrative and financial support.

Zein Motors, a division of DIC (Dae-il Corporation) located in the national industrial complex in Daegu, plans to be the first in Korea to make comercial EVs in earnest later this year.

Lotte Global Logistics is expected to lead the industry as a eco-friendly company by replacing existing diesel cars with EVs.
