SW Convergence Tech Biz Center to open in the end of May

(DAEGU=Yonhap News) The SW Convergence Tech Biz Center (hereinafter to be called "Center"), which will act as an incubator for SMEs in ICT and SW fields in Daegu, is set to be opened next month.

Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency (DIP) said on April 15 that it starts accepting application from the companies who want to move into the Center, which was built at SW Convergence Cluster, Alpha City in Suseong-gu.

The Center, with 1 basement floor and 6 floors on the area of 13,000 square meters, will have 50 rooms for companies on the 3rd-6th floors in SW development and distribution, video and Audio recording production and distribution, computer programming, and system integration and management.

The average net floor area per room is about 78 square meters, with rental fees estimated at 24,000 per 3.3 square meters.

DIP will have a seminar on April 19 and receive application by May 2nd.

DIP President said, "We will provide support to make the Center as one of the largest cluster of SW companies in the region, along with SW Convergence Technology Support Center."
