According to Yonhap News,

The 'Powerful Daegu Festival', one of Asia's largest street parades, resumes anew after three years.

Starting with the eve festival on July 8, the city kicked off a two-day hot festival in the area around Jungang Intersection and Jonggak Intersection on Jung-gu Gukchaebosang-ro on July 9-10.

The festival is held under the slogan of 'Festival is back', and filled with various water performances.

The parade, the highlight of the festival, will feature performances by 80 domestic and foreign teams from 5 pm.

In particular, teams that have won world-class parades such as the 'Sinulog Festival' of the Philippines and the 'YOSAKOI Festival' of Japan are participating.

After the parade awards ceremony and closing ceremony, a street funk show by No Brain and Crying Nut bands will be held, concluding the summer night city festival.
