According to Yonhap News,
Implant manufacturer Dentis is to build a third factory in the Daegu Innovation City.
Daegu and Dentis inked an MOU to this effect at the city hall on Mar. 30.
The company is slated to invest KRW 40.1 billion to build the factory on a 14,761-square-meter site near the existing second in the district.
The third one will include a research center and manufacturing facilities for surgical devices and implants.
Construction is scheduled to start this May and be completed in Jan. 2024.
The city has been strategically attracting promising dental-related companies, aiming to become a dental-industry city.
