"The Daegu–Gyeongbuk new airport builiding project will be successfuly completed."... heads of local governemtn reaffimed in unison
Daegu, Gyeonbuk, and Gunwi-gun, Uiseong-gun join hands in working on the Daegu–Gyeongbuk new airport builiding project. On Apr. 28, heads of these local governments gather toghather in Gunwi-gun to hold meeting to discuss issues related the Daegu–Gyeongbuk new airport builiding project .
It is said they reaffirmed that they would remain committed to work together as a 'one team' to ensure not just a successful outcome of the airport project, but development of neigboring areas.
They alos paln to make a close cooperation to promote development in Gunwi-gun, Uiseong-gun where the new airport will be located.
Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo said. "What is required to us to guarantee a fruitful outcome of the Daegu–Gyeongbuk new airport builiding project, which is the largest scale of project in our history, is concerted efforts made by all the local communities in this region." and "Taking an opportunity from this meeting, I will work on stengthening the commucication channel that will make sure the project will be seamlessly proceeded."
