International Electric Power Industry Expo Korea Begins to Showcase Renewable and Nuclear Technologies

International Electric Power Industry Expo Korea (EPEK) kicks off on June 14 and takes place for 3 days at Daegu Exhibition & Convention Center (EXCO).

Co-hosted by Gyeongbuk-do and Korea Electrical Contractors Association (KECA), the EPEK becomes a great platform where 130 businesses of electrical engineering and EVs participate to showcase their goods and services at a total of 356 booths in the exhibition hall.

Gyeongbuk-do will elaborate on its major energy projects and policies on an energy industry convergence complex, a cluster of hydrogen fuel cell technology, a floating solar photovoltaic cluster, decentralized wind farms, a hydrogen city, a clean energy complex to carry out RE100.

Joining hands with KHNP, KEPCO E&C, KEPCO KPS, KAIF, and Haeroum Alliance Nuclear Innovation Center, the provincial government also plans to promote the potential and capabilities of nuclear energy.

There will be an array of events arranged, including evaluation sessions to compare participating companies' products and technologies, one-on-one consultations, and export negotiation talks with foreign clients.

Gyeongbuk Provincial Governor Lee Cheol-woo said, "We will spare no effort to ensure this region, as the heart of new and renewable energy, will continuously lead the future energy industry."
