Daegu Builds An Integrated Metaverse Library
Daegu city plans to build a virtual library that integrates all the contents of public libraries in the city.
The city announced on July 5 that it will create a metaverse library that will serve as Daegu's integrated virtual library.
City libraries that participate in the project for now include those located in Dalseong-gun, Dong-gu, and Suseong-gu.
In the long term, all the contents of every public library in Daegu will be incorporated into the virtual library platform, according to the city's plan.
"We plan to expand public areas where metaverse technologies will be applied to.", said Dr. Ryu Dong-hyun in charge of AI and Blockchain at the Daegu city government.
