According to Yonhap News,

2023 Powerful Startup Festa, a startup festival, will be held at Daegu Samsung Creative Campus on August 25-26.

The event, which marks its 8th anniversary this year, will provide such programs as start-up item competitions, expert conferences, mock investment competitions, start-up consultation, and augmented reality (AR) experiences.

The start-up item competition will be divided into five sectors, which are hardware, software, youth, foreigners, and citizens.

The citizens sector has been introduced this year with the aim of discovering start-up ideas in daily life. Those who want to participate can submit ideas on the event website (www.gifesfa.kr) by 5 p.m. on August 25, or or on-site on the day of the event.

Deputy Mayor of Daegu-si said, "We hope it will serve as an opportunity to revitalize the local start-up ecosystem and enhance the image as a city that is friendly to start-ups."
