According to Yonhap News,

The "2024 Korea International Exhibition of Machinery, Equipment, Science and Technology for Agriculture" opened at EXCO on October 30, presenting the latest technologies and trends related to agricultural machinery and materials home and abroad.

The exhibition has been held biennially from 1992 to 2008 in Seoul and from 2010 to 2018 in Cheonan, and this is the second time to be held in Daegu following the previous one in 2022.

This year's four-day event, scheduled until October 2, will be participated by 429 agricultural machinery and material companies from 25 countries to showcase advanced products and technologies.

In particular, hydrogen tractors powered by eco-friendly energy, AI robots and drones for agriculture tapping big data will also be displayed, giving the glimpse into future agricultural technologies and promising items.

In addition, various side events are also prepared, including international academic symposiums, export consultations with overseas buyers, smart farm global market development seminars, agricultural robot competitions, on-site training for field agricultural machinery, and prize events.

Daegu's mayor said, "we hope this exhibition will serve as an opportunity to check the current status of the latest agricultural technologies and prepare for the future".
