DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

On December 26, Suseong-gu, Daegu, announced that it has been finally designated as a "Korean Cultural City (special cultural zone)" organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Korean cultural city is one of the four special zones of the local era and is a key project for balanced regional-centered cultural development promoted by the government.

Suseong-gu was highly praised for presenting a blueprint, the "Korea Visual Arts Hub City" , which will turn the entire city into a vibrant art museum.

A total of KRW 19.8 billion, including about KRW 10 billion in state funds, will be invested for three years from next year to 2027 to begin a project to create a cultural city in earnest.

The county cited the development of media art contents and the establishment of facilities dedicated to media art as key projects.
