Daegu Chamber of Commerce to foster "IP Star Enterprises"

On January 20, the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Intellectual Property Center announced that it is calling for participation of promising local export SMEs in the "2025 Global IP (Intellectual Property) Star Enterprise Development Project."

The selected companies will receive various forms of support for up to three years, with a maximum annual limit of KRW 70 million. This includes patent strategy for overseas expansion, creation of promotional videos for patented technologies, new and renewed brand development, product and packaging design development, and more.

Additionally, professional consultations for securing patents, trademarks, and design rights will be provided, along with support for up to 60% of the costs for overseas patent applications.

Last year, 38 companies were selected for this program.

Eligible companies with export records or export plans for this year can make applications via the website (pms.ripc.org) by February 17.
