According to Yonhap News,
On February 13, Daegu-si announced that local dental medical companies signed contracts worth USD 5.44 million (approximately KRW 8.8 billion) at the AEEDC Dubai 2025, the dental equipment exhibition in Dubai, UAE, held this year.
At the exhibition, which took place from January 4th to the 6th, Daegu's dental medical companies in the joint pavilion operated by the city achieved contract results along with export consultations totaling 244 cases worth USD 21.31 million dollars.
The AEEDC Dubai, which has been held annually in Dubai since 1996, is the largest dental medical equipment exhibition in the Middle East and the second-largest in the world.
The city supported the participation of local companies in overseas exhibitions as part of the 'Total Marketing Support Project for Local Medical Equipment,' which is led by Daegu Technopark.
A total of 163 domestic companies, including eight local companies such as YESIMPLANT, a specialized manufacturer of implant-related products, participated in the exhibition.
An official from Daegu-si said, "Based on the city's strong dental industry infrastructure, we will actively support companies' overseas expansion in line with changing market trends, such as digital transformation."
