According to Yonhap News,
On March 13, the Daegu Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) announced that it will be accepting applications for participation in the 2025 K-Global Competitiveness Enhancement Support Program until April 10.
This program, promoted by Daegu-si and the DCCI, is aimed at local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups.
It will help domestic companies expand their overseas sales channels and enter export markets by utilizing global e-commerce platforms such as Alibaba.com and Amazon.com.
The Alibaba.com support program covers 90% of the annual membership fee and offers tailored training from store entry to detailed operational skills.
When it comes to the Amazon.com support program, new companies wishing to enter the platform will receive both theoretical and practical training on account creation, product registration, and logistics. Initial entry costs will also be supported up to KRW 800,000.
For companies that already have an Amazon.com account, advertising costs (up to KRW 4 million) will be supported.
For more details, refer to the announcement on the DCCI website (www.dcci.or.kr) or contact the Research and Development Support Team at ☎053-222-3085.
