On June 13, Daegu-si announced that the region's largest medical industry exhibition, '2025 MEDIEXPO KOREA,' will be held at Daegu EXCO on June 20-22.

The event is hosted by Daegu City and organized by EXCO, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Innovation Foundation, the Daegu Dental Association, and others. It will feature the Health Medical Industry Exhibition alongside the Advanced Digital Medical Equipment Exhibition and the Dental Equipment Exhibition, with a total of 350 companies participating.

The exhibition will showcase the latest trends in the medical industry, covering digital healthcare, imaging and rehabilitation medical devices, clinical and diagnostic device, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, dental equipment, medical information systems, among others.

In addition to the product displays by domestic and international medical companies, various seminars, academic conferences, and side events will be organized by healthcare organizations, as well as enterprise support and research institutions.

The 'Overseas Buyer Export Consultation,' hosted by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), will involve buyers of 50 companies from 21 countries, supporting domestic medical companies in entering international markets through consultations with exhibitors.

Moreover, academic conferences organized by regional medical academic organizations, are expected to attract around 6,000 medical professionals.

Daegu's acting mayor stated, "With MEDIEXPO KOREA, we will increase the recognition and domestic and international competitiveness of Daegu's medical industry and focus on nurturing the advanced healthcare industry as a key growth driver for the local economy."
