According to Yonhap News,

On July 10, Daegu-si signed an investment agreement with SNUCONE, a leading local implant company, for the construction of a new factory.

Under this agreement, SNUCONE plans to invest KRW 37 billion by January 2027 to build its second and third factories, producing dental implants at a site of over 7,000 square meters in the Seongseo 1st Industrial Complex in Daegu's Dalseo-gu.

Daegu-si will provide policy support necessary for the establishment of the manufacturing plant.

SNUCONE, headquartered in Dalseo-gu, Daegu, was founded in 2000 and currently exports dental implants to more than 20 countries worldwide, including China.

In 2024, the company was awarded the '20 Million Dollar Export Tower.'

Meanwhile, since the launch of the 8th local government in 2022, Daegu-si has signed investment agreements with three other local implant companies, amounting to KRW 84.8 billion in total.

Economic Deputy Mayor of Daegu-si stated, "This investment agreement will strengthen Daegu's position as a leading city in the domestic dental industry. We will provide full support to help SNUCONE become a leading implant company in Korea."
